Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to join our construction team. The foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of crew members, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of hardscape construction principles.
Duties:
- Plan job from excavation phase, base phase through final product.
- Read and interpret Designs, ensuring accurate execution of project plans
- Oversee the daily operations of construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and monitor progress
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or areas for improvement, report back to construction manager.
- Train and mentor laborers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including daily reports and work logs
- Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success
- Operate various types of equipment including but not limited to Excavator, Skid steer, Loader, Dingo.
-Drive dump truck and trailer to transport materials and equipment from location to location.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a foreman hardscape industry
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficient in reading designs and interpreting project plans
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills
